Our history
A family company that has its roots in the festivals of the summer, we specialize in the nostalgia of carnival confections and we're mostly known for "Hursels and Sylvias famous lemonade".
Hursel started selling their lemonade in 1985 doing local festivals. While his focus was on delicious fresh squeezed lemonade shake ups, he sold little things depending on what the venues would allow. Mostly candies like rock candy on stick, m&ms, and things like that; in the early 1990's he had created a great name for himself and soon found a small brick and mortar Concessions stand within Eden Park in Cincinnati ohio.
After the loss of his wife, my grandma, Sylvia, Hursel gave up the Concessions stand. After a couple of years hiatus, he revived Queencity Concessions in the early 2000's, as a festival hopping family business, staying local to the greater Cincinnati area.
Today my wife and I are continuing this family legacy while adding crafts along with the tasty food and drinks.
